What This Service Covers
Washing machine repair addresses the mechanical and electrical systems that let your unit fill, agitate, spin, and drain properly. That includes the drive belt, motor, pump, control board, and door or lid seals. Washing machines cycle through heavy use week after week in Agoura Hills, CA households, and that repetitive motion eventually wears down belts, bearings, and seals.
Common complaints include a drum that won't spin, water that won't drain fully, loud banging during the spin cycle, and water leaking from underneath the unit. Each symptom usually traces back to a specific worn or failed part rather than requiring a full replacement.
Why You Shouldn't Wait
A washing machine that's leaking, even slightly, can cause water damage to flooring and the surrounding structure if left unaddressed for weeks. A drum that's off balance and banging during the spin cycle puts extra strain on the motor and suspension components, often turning a minor repair into a larger one.
Ignoring drainage issues can also lead to standing water sitting inside the machine between uses, which creates unpleasant odors and, over time, can affect the internal components through corrosion.
Our Washing Machine Repair Process
Cycle Testing
We run the machine through a test cycle to observe exactly where the fault occurs, whether during fill, agitation, spin, or drain.
Component Inspection
The belt, motor, pump, and control board are inspected to pinpoint the specific failed or worn part.
Repair
We replace or repair the identified component using parts suited to your specific make and model.
Full Cycle Verification
The machine runs a complete wash cycle after the repair to confirm the issue is fully resolved.
What to Expect
Most washing machine repairs are completed within a single appointment. Belt, pump, and seal replacements are especially common and typically don't require a return visit since these parts are frequently carried on our trucks.
If the repair involves the control board or a less common part, we'll let you know upfront whether ordering time is needed, so you know what to expect before agreeing to the repair.
